My practice focuses on creating spatial, sensory and auditory experiences through sound, light, moving image, materials and technology. I enjoy exploring different mediums and the ways they can be combined to shape an environment and influence how we experience a space. With a particular affinity for sound and its ephemeral nature, I have increasingly explored its relationship with physical materials and technology, creating immersive and interactive installations. My experience in the music industry and multimedia production has given me a practical approach to developing and executing creative work. This includes producing events where the focus is on bringing other people's concepts to life and making sure they are executed as smoothly as possible. I enjoy the balance between structure and experimentation, and the problem-solving involved in turning an idea into something tangible. My work often begins with personal experiences, observations and introspection, and develops through experimentation with materials, sound and space. I am interested in creating environments that invite people to engage, explore and experience rather than simply observe. While living in London, I found a sense of comfort within its more experimental scenes and small communities. I released a tape through Musica Dispersa, which was available through Bandcamp, Musica Dispersa events and Electric Knife Records. I was also part of the Swift Noise compilation and digital album release, and collaborated with London-based artist Raxil4. Through my MA in Sound Arts, I expanded my practice into more spatial and site-specific forms. This included broadcasting a collaborative piece on Resonance FM, which can be heard here, as well as producing a multichannel, site-specific installation in collaboration with Ephemoral. Guests were encouraged to bring their own activities and anything that helped them feel at home, from drawing and knitting to board games, blankets and pyjamas. The markets brought together independent vendors and members of our team, offering art, records, handmade and upcycled clothing, crafts, accessories and second-hand items, alongside tattoo flash, food and drinks. The curation was closely connected to OXI's team and extended community, whose interests, practices and networks helped shape the selection of vendors and character of the markets. Meoko | London | 2014 – 2015 I worked for Meoko, an online magazine promoting electronic music and events internationally. As the main writer, I was responsible for scouting article themes and interviewing DJs. My role also included managing the visual presentation of my articles on the website, overseeing their appearance on social media, and editing other written content. Communication was an important part of the role, particularly when conducting interviews remotely. I regularly liaised with artists and their managers via email and video calls, ensuring that both the written content and visual presentation met the expectations of the artist, manager and publication. Each workshop took place at a different location, such as Spectrum, Kulturhaus Kili and xHain.&nbsp; With this mod, the Casio VL-tone replica is transformed into a programmable sequencer with various arpeggio abilities. The display shows a number of hyperventilating creatures and some other body-parts. Similar to how modern day natural history museums currently contain specimens in tubular jars, I was largely inspired by the vast Wet Collection in the Natural History Museum in Berlin. In this iteration, the imaginary museum is designed to be a fuller experience by creating the atmosphere of the space in a way that mimics the underwater environment that is natural to the beings. It also contains a VCO, a built-in clock and a noise push button for extra intensity. It can be used both on its own or as an effect filter.
