Treehouse: Experimental music & art event

PAS | Berlin | 2024

I curated a Sunday afternoon post-club gathering called Treehouse, in an industrial living-room space overlooking the Spree. The venue was transformed into a relaxed, home-like environment with plants, couches, beanbags, carpets and coffee tables, creating room for people to draw, read, play games, talk, listen, rest, sit, stand or dance.

The event was conceived as a post-club community hang, offering an informal space to spend time together beyond the traditional club environment. Guests were encouraged to bring their own activities and anything that helped them feel at home, from drawing and knitting to board games, blankets and pyjamas. The kitchen was also open for guests to prepare or heat up food.

The programme moved between experimental music in the first half of the event and IDM and ambient music later in the afternoon. The atmosphere was complemented by a lighting installation by Nindya Nareswari.
